Summer time happenings

Well so its been awhile since I've last written... I've been busy and then not so busy. We moved to our new house in May, it is sooooo much better than living in an apartment! We had a big birthday party for both Riley and Piper's birthdays. It was a Pirate/island theme..... not much in decoration due to it stressing me out to much with having just settled in the house. The summer has been pretty lazy, just hanging out with the girls at home, playing in the blow up pool, and heading out to the library.

Jeff has been looking for a new job, his current one has just been calling him in when needed so he doesn't get many hours in. He got a call back for an interview at an auto parts place for a sales position. He doesn't have too much experiance in sales, but knows a lot about the auto parts so we are hoping for a good outcome. The new place is a lot closer to home, being in Chaska and not in Edin Prairie, so that would help out a lot with the gas prices.

We are hoping to send Riley to a new private school in the fall, International School of Minneasota. We looked at it in May and took a tour than, we really liked its curriculum. They start teaching either French or Spanish right away in Preschool/prekindergarten and keeps it mandatory throughout the years. They also teach swimming once a week throughout the elementry years, which is nice to fit in. It is pretty small only about 30 kids in a grade and goes up to 12th grade so she would stay with the same kids the entire time. A good thing if she gets along with them, sucky if she doesn't. But, I'm not too worried about her with social skills, she is so friendly and loves everyone! The only thing left is having to make the call to Grandpa to ask if he will pay the tuition, I'm sure he has no problem with it, I just hate asking for things.

We attempted a pet for the girls for their birthdays and decieded on a goldfish for starters. We went off to Walmart and bought three, one for each girl. They were named KiKi, Jenny and Whiteye. Unfortunatlly like anyother live thing that enters our house they all died within two weeks. I'm not sure what our problem is but we can't keep anything but ourselves living for very long! The girls weren't too disapointed at least, Riley just wants to get some more... we'll see how long they will live.

Well anyway thats all thats up for us ...... here are some photos we've taken from the birthday party and from the fourth at my parents house.
