Although her first day was last Tuesday, this was Piper's first day of 2nd grade at our house! She loves her class so far. All the kids are the same, and her room is even the same room as last year (they switched up the rooms during the summer)! I'd have to say she is definitely in a better mood now than she was at the end of the summer, must of just needed a little time away from home. Piper is already coming home with plenty of homework (I don't remember ever having homework) and she is already avoiding it. We got a note home from the teacher about missing homework already!
